The TDA meets the first Tuesday of every month at 8:30 am at the Burgaw Visitors Center.

The Town of Burgaw Tourism Development Authority was established to promote travel, tourism and conventions in the Town of Burgaw, sponsor tourist related activities and events, and finance tourist related capital projects in the Town of Burgaw. The Authority Board shall adhere to Senate Bill 1431 (establishment of Town of Burgaw Occupancy Tax) of the 2006 Session of the North Carolina General Assembly in the expenditure of funds allocated to it. 

Day-to-day operations are handled by the Burgaw Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Department.
